נינה סוסניה (באנגלית: Nina Sosanya; נולדה ב-6 ביוני ב-1969) היא שחקנית תיאטרון, טלוויזיה וקולנוע אנגלייה. היא מוכרת בעיקר מהופעותיה בסדרות הטלוויזיה "W1A" הטנגו האחרון בהליפקס".[1][2]

ביוגרפיה

סוסניה נולדה בלונדון לאב ניגרי ולאם אנגלייה.[1] היא למדה זמן מה ב-Vale of Catmose College" באוקהאם, ואחר כך ב-"Northern School of Contemporary Dance" שם סיימה בחינות A Level באמנות הבמה.[2]

קריירה

סוסניה שיחקה בתפקידים רבים על במת התיאטרון, בטלוויזיה ובסרטי קולנוע. הפריצה הגדולה הראשונה שלה בתיאטרון הייתה במחזה "אנטוניוס וקלאופטרה" בתיאטרון הלאומי, ובטלוויזיה ב-2001 בסדרה "מורים".[3] עוד השתתפה בסדרות ובסרטים בהם "Sorted", "אנשים כמונו", "אהבה זה כל הסיפור", "נתן בארלי", "רנסאנס" ו"קזנובה". היא גילמה את קארן בליין בפרק "The Three Gamblers" בסדרה "ג'ונתן קריק". היא השתתפה בסרט הטלוויזיה "מהומה רבה על לא דבר" במסגרת הסדרה "ShakespeaRe-Told", עיבודים מודרניים למחזות שייקספיריים, בסדרת הטלוויזיה "עיר מקלט" ובפרק "Fear Her" בסדרת המדע בדיוני "דוקטור הו".[4]

ב-2003 שיחקה סוסניה בתפקיד רוזלינד במחזה "כטוב בעיניכם" עם הלהקה השייקספירית המלכותית (RSC) בתיאטרון סוואן בסטרטפורד-אפון-אייבון. ב-2008 חזרה לשחק עם RSC וגילמה את רוזלין במחזה "עמל אהבה לשווא". ב-2009 הופיעה בעיבוד רדיופוני לסיפור מתוך אוסף הסיפורים הקצרים "The State of the Art".[4]

סוסניה הקריאה את התפקיד של ספי בספרי השמע של הסדרה "Noughts and Crosses" מאת מלורי בלקמן.

בינואר 2010 שיחקה סוסניה בתפקיד מיי פולוק במחזה "חתולה על גג פח לוהט" מאת טנסי ויליאמס בתיאטרון נובלו בלונדון.[4]

היא הופיעה בתפקיד קולי טרנט בעונה השנייה של הדרמה הטלוויזיונית של ה-BBC "חמישה ימים". עוד שיחקה בסדרה הקומית "2012" על ההכנות לאולימפיאדה של 2012 בלונדון, בדרמה של ה-BBC "הגלימה" ובסדרה "הנוכלים". סוסניה הופיעה בתפקיד קטן בסדרת מדע בדיוני לילדים של ערוץ CBBC בשם "Wizards vs Aliens" בדמות טרישה, אמו של שרווד.[4]

ב-2012 שיחקה סוסניה בתפקיד אליבה סילבר במיני-סדרה "אי המטמון". בשנים 2012 עד 2015 הופיעה בתפקיד ראשי בדמות קייט מקנזי בשלוש העונות הראשונות של הדרמה של ה-BBC "הטנגו האחרון בהליפקס".[1] ב-2014 עד 2015 שיחקה בתפקיד לוסי פרימן בסדרה הקומית "W1A". ב-2015 כיכבה סוסניה עם קתרין טייט ומארק גאטיס במחזה "The Vote" בתקופה לפני הבכירות הכלליות בממלכה המאוחדת. ב-2016 כיכבה במחזה "Young Chekhov",[1] ושיחקה בתפקיד פקד בילוש לורה פוטר בסדרה "מרצ'לה" של ITV.[5] ב-2014 הופיעה בהפקת הבכורה של המחזה "Privacy" בדונמאר ורהאוס בלונדון.[6] ב-2012 שיחקה בהפקת הבכורה העולמית של המחזה "אלגיה" בתיאטרון דונמאר ורהאוס.[7]
