נדיה בוארי (באנגלית: Nadia Buari; נולדה ב-21 בנובמבר 1982)[1] היא שחקנית קולנוע וטלוויזיה גנאית.

ביוגרפיה

בוארי נולדה בסקונדי-טקורדי שבגאנה, לאב לבנוני ולאם גנאית. היא למדה אמנויות הבמה באוניברסיטת גאנה, שם השלימה תואר ראשון לאמנויות.[2][3]

קריירה

הופעת הבכורה של בוארי בטלוויזיה הגנאית הייתה בסדרה Games People Play בסוף 2005, עליה קיבלה מועמדות לשחקנית הטובה ביותר.[4] התפקיד הגדול הראשון שלה בסרט היה ב-Mummy's Daughter, אחריו היא כיכבה בסרט Beyonce: The President's Daughter.[5] היא כיכבה ביותר מ-20 סרטים.[6] ב-2013, היא יצרה סרט משלה, The Diary of Imogen Brown.[7]

נוליווד

בוארי עברה מסרטים גנאים אל נוליווד בסביבות שנת 2008. פריצת הדרך שלה הייתה בסרט Beyonce & Rihanna בתפקיד ביונסה לצד שחקנית נוליווד אומוטולה ג'לאדה אקיינדה אשר שיחקה את ריהאנה. הסרט היה ללהיט בניגריה וגם בגאנה.[8] סרטי נוליווד בולטים אחרים ששיחקה בהם כוללים את Rough Rider, Beauty and the Beast, Holding Hope ו-Single and Married.

גם סדרות הסרטים ששיחקה מול שחקן נוליווד ג'ים אייקה זכו לפופולריות. הם כוללים את Hot Romance ו-Behind a Smile.[9][10]

בשנת 2013 היא זכתה בפרס השחקנית הפאן אפריקאית הטובה ביותר בפרסי הבידור של ניגריה.[11]

מועמדויות פרסים

בוארי הייתה מועמדת פעמיים לפרס השחקנית הטובה ביותר בפרסי האקדמיה האפריקאית לקולנוע, בשנים 2001 ו-2009.[12][13] היא זכתה בפרס לשחקנית הפאן אפריקאית הטובה ביותר בפרסי הבידור של ניגריה, המכירים במצוינות בתעשיית הבידור האפריקאית. בשנת 2014, היא זכתה ב"פרס הכרה מיוחד" בפרסי הקהל לקולנוע "אפריקה מג'יק".[14]

חיים אישיים

בוארי הייתה בעבר במערכת יחסים עם הכדורגלן, מייקל אסיין, שחקן נבחרת גאנה וקבוצת צ'לסי מאנגליה. בשנת 2014, הייתה בזוגיות עם השחקן הנוליוודי, ג'ים אייקה, עמו כיכבה במספר סרטים.[15][16] מאז, נולדו לבוארי שתי בנות תאומות, אך היא שומרת בסוד את זהות אביהן (לא הבנות של אייקה) ואת הסטטוס של מערכת היחסים שלה.[17]
