לאדה 4×4, שנקראה בעבר לאדה ניבה, היא רכב שטח, שפותח על ידי היצרן הרוסי (הסובייטי לשעבר) AvtoVAZ במיוחד לשוק הכפרי, אף על פי שמוכרים דגמים המיועדים לשימוש עירוני. זה היה רכב הייצור ההמוני הראשון בכביש והוא קודם לרכבי שטח קרוסאובר נוכחיים והיווה השראה לסוזוקי ויטארה.[1]

בשנת 2018 אווטוואז חשפה גרסה מחודשת של הרכב שנקרא בפשטות "לאדה ארבע על ארבע".

שם

לאדה 4×4 נקראה בעבר "לאדה ניבה". שינוי השם התרחש לאחר שהמותג "ניבה" הועבר לג'נרל מוטורס, אם כי AvtoVAZ שומרת על הזכויות על השם הקירילי המקביל, "Нива".‏[2] הוא שווק גם כ"לאדה ספורט" באיסלנד,[3] לאדה טייגה באוסטריה, בוגנור דיווה באורוגוואי, ולאדה קוזאק בבריטניה.[4] מאז 2014 הוא נמכר כלאדה 4×4 ברוסיה, שם שמתחיל גם להחליף את "ניבה" בשוקי הייצוא.

זה היה גם דגם ה-VAZ הראשון, שבנוסף לשם הייצוא הקלאסי של המותג ולהחלפת המנוע, הוצג גם שם יצוא של הדגם עצמו (Niva); בדגמים הקודמים (הז'יגולי) היו רק שם הייצוא של המותג, לאדה. כמו כן, הניבה הייתה דגם ה-VAZ היחיד שהשתמש באותו שם דגם הן לשוק המקומי והן לשוק הייצוא (VAZ-2121 Niva עבור המקומי, ו-Lada Niva 1600 לייצוא); לשאר הדגמים היו שמות ייצוא שונים מהשמות המשמשים בשוק המקומי (לדוגמה, ה-VAZ-2109 ספוטניק היה לאדה סמארה 1500 לייצוא, וה-VAZ-2105 ז'יגולי, סומן כ-Lada Riva 1300 מחוץ לברית המועצות).

GM-AvtoVAZ, מיזם משותף בין AvtoVAZ לג'נרל מוטורס, מייצר את שברולט ניבה (שכונה בעבר VAZ-2123 ניבה בשוק המקומי). הוא כולל גוף מעודכן ומנוע בנזין 1.7 ליטר עם הזרקת דלק. אף על פי שהגוף והפנים הם חדשים, הוא עדיין מבוסס על מנוע VAZ-2121 הישן, התמסורת ורוב החלקים מכניים. יכולת השטח שלו היא מופתית בהשוואה לרכבי שטח רבים מסוגו, שתוכננו לשטח טונדרה קשה.[5]

באוגוסט 2014 בסלון הרכב הבינלאומי במוסקבה, חברת GM-AvtoVAZ הציגה את הדור הבא של ניבה.[6] למכונית היה מנוע בעל הנעה ארבע גלגלית.[7] תחילת הייצור היה צפוי להתחיל בשנת 2016, אך ל-GM לא היה עניין בדגם והוא מעולם לא הגיע לכדי ייצור סדרתי.[8]

באוגוסט 2018 הציג AvtoVAZ את הרעיון של מכונית ניבה חדשה לחלוטין, ששמה היה "Lada 4x4 Vision Concept". תחילת הייצור הצפוי מתוכנן לשנת 2022.[9]

בעלים בולטים

הקונה הבולט של רכב הניבה במאי 2009 היה ראש הממשלה, ולדימיר פוטין.[10] שהחזיק ברשותו רכב אופל ובחר להחליפו בדגם ניבה, כדי לתמוך ביצרני רכב מקומיים למרות המשבר הכלכלי שפקד את המדינה, בתקופת המשבר הכלכלי העולמי (2008).

שחקן הכדורגל הסרבי אלכסנדר קולארוב קיבל רישיון ללאדה 4×4 ניבה, כפרס על כך שכבש שער במשחק נבחרתו נגד קוסטה ריקה, במהלך מונדיאל 2018 ברוסיה.[11]

הרכבים משמשים את משטרת הפדרציה הרוסית, בעיקר באזורי ספר.
