ישועת ה' כהרף עין

יְשׁוּעַת ה' כְּהֶרֶף עַיִן הוא ביטוי שמשמעותו שה' מושיע במהירות גדולה.[1]

רעיון הביטוי מופיע כבר אצל הנביא ישעיהו, בנוסחו המוכר הוא מופיע (ככל הנראה) לראשונה אצל רבי ניסים גאון.

מקור הביטוי

רעיון הביטוי מופיע כבר אצל הנביא ישעיהו באומרו "ותשועתם לא תאחר".[2] הצירוף "כהרף עין" (בהקשר אחר) מופיע בברייתות שמובאות בתלמוד הירושלמי[3] ובבבלי.[4] רס"ג כתב "וכהרף עין תושיע את כולם",[5] וכך גם הנוסח בברכה שנייה בתפילת העמידה בנוסח ארץ ישראל "כהרף עין ישועה לנו תצמיח".[6] בספר דברי גד החוזה מיוחסת לדוד המלך האמירה "תשועתו כהרף עין".

הביטוי בנוסח המוכר מופיע (ככל הנראה) לראשונה אצל רבי ניסים גאון, שכותב "ולא נתן על דעתו שישועת ה' כהרף עין, כמו שנאמר ישועתו כהרף עין".[7]

גרסאות שונות

הביטוי מופיע בשני נוסחים, תשועת ה' כהרף עין וישועת ה' כהרף עין, רבי ניסים גאון מביא גרסה ישועתו כהרף עין,[8] רבי משה סופר גרס בהרף עין,[9] ריה"ל שם בפי ה' את המשפט "ישועתי כהרף עין",[10] רבי יצחק אברבנאל כותב "תשועת ה' תהיה כהרף עין",[11] רבי משה חגיז כותב תשועת ה' שהיא כהרף עין.[12]

רבי שמואל ברבי הושענא כתב "ישועה מתוך יאוש תוחש כהרף שעה.[13]

הביטוי מופיע בשירים ישראלים רבים, כך בשיר "ישועתו" של רבע לאפריקה,[14] בשיר "רבי נחמן" של אלעד שער,[15] בשיר "ישועת ה' כהרף עין" של יוני רועה,[16] ובשירים אחרים.[17]
