טקס פרסי האקדמיה הבריטית לקולנוע ה-3 שמעניקה האקדמיה הבריטית לאמנויות הקולנוע והטלוויזיה, נערך ב-29 במאי 1950,[1] בו הוענקו פרסים לסרטים הטובים ביותר של 1948 ו-1949. פרסי הסרט הבריטי הטוב ביותר הסרט הטוב ביותר מכל מקור הוענקו לסרטים "האדם השלישי" ו"גונבי האופניים" בהתאמה.

זוכים ומועמדים

הסרטים "האדם השלישי" ו"גונבי האופניים" זכו בפרס בקטגוריות הסרט הבריטי הטוב ביותר הסרט הטוב ביותר מכל מקור בהתאמה. הסרט "האדם השלישי היה מועמד בשתי הקטגוריות. סרט התעודה "Daybreak in Udi" זכה בפרס הסרט הדוקומנטרי הטוב ביותר. הסרט הצרפתי "La Famille Martin" זכה בפרס מיוחד. הסרט "החיפוש" זכה בפרס האומות המאוחדות.[2]
