דן סתיו (נולד ב-8 במאי 1956 בחיפה) הוא דיפלומט ישראלי, שכיהן כשגריר ישראל באזרבייג'ן[1] ובנפאל.[2]

ביוגרפיה

נולד וגדל בחיפה. סתיו שרת בצבא הגנה לישראל בין השנים 1974–1977. בשנת 1979 החל ללמוד יחסים בין-לאומיים באוניברסיטה העברית בירושלים. בשנת 1982 קיבל תואר ראשון. בשנת 1986 הוא סיים את התואר השני בהצטיינות.

בנובמבר 1984 הצטרף סתיו למשרד החוץ. בין מאי 1986 עד פברואר 1989, עבד במחלקת האוקיינוס השקט במשרד. מפברואר 1989 ועד אוגוסט 1992 סתיו היה קצין עיתונות בשגרירות ישראל בהאג. בספטמבר 1992 סתיו חזר ארצה ועבד כחוקר באגף מערב אירופה של של משרד החוץ. ביולי 1998 סתיו נשלח לשרת בשגרירות ישראל בניו דלהי, בתפקיד סגן ראש הנציגות הדיפלומטית. בין דצמבר 2002 ועד אוגוסט 2003, הוא שימש זמנית כממונה על השגרירות וממלא מקום השגריר.

לאחר שמילא מספר תפקידים שונים במשרד החוץ, בין השנים 2005 ועד 2010 סתיו שרת כשגריר ישראל בנפאל.[3] בהמשך, הוא חזר ארצה ועבד במשרד החוץ.

ב-31 באוגוסט 2015 דן הוסמך כשגריר ישראל באזרבייג'ן[4] ושרת שם עד נובמבר 2019.

משפחה

סתיו נשוי ואב לשני ילדים.
