א-נזלה אל-ע'רביה (בערבית: النزلة الغربية) הוא כפר פלסטיני בנפת טולכרם בצפון מערב השומרון, הממוקם כ-16 ק"מ צפונית לטולכרם. על פי הלשכה הפלסטינית המרכזית לסטטיסטיקה, אוכלוסיית א-נזלה אל-ע'רביה מנתה בשנת 2006 כ-885 תושבים.[1]

מקור השם

בערבית, השרש نزل נ.ז.ל. מורה על ירידה ועל פי וילנאי [2] מדובר במקום שתושבי ההרים הסמוכים היו יורדים אליו לעבד את האדמה ואף לגור שם. משמעות המלה השנייה היא - המערבית ואכן כפר הזה שוכן ממערב לשני הכפרים: אל-נזלה אל-וואסטא (האמצעית) וְ אל-א-נזלה א-שרקייה (המזרחית).

היסטוריה

בא-נזלה אל-ע'רביה נמצאו שרידי חרס מהתקופה הרומית.[3]בנוסף על כך, נמצאו גם כלי חרס מהתקופה המוסלמית ומימי הביניים נמצאו בכפר. דרומית מערבית לכפר, על ראש הגבעה, נמצא קברו של שייח' בשם ח'ליל (אין פרטים אודותיו). הקבר בנוי מאבנים ישנות ובו נמצאו חרסים מהתקופה הביזנטית.[4]

6.1% מאוכלוסיית א-נזלה אל-ע'רביה היו פליטים בשנת 1997.[8]

קרקעות

מפת הקרן לחקר ארץ ישראל שפורסמה ב-1882 תיארה את הכפר: "יש מעט עצי תאנה, וכן בארות מים במערב הכפר. יש מערות מולן בדרום הכפר."[9]

בסקר הכפרים של 1945[10] נמצא ששטח הכפר כ- 2,320 דונם. מתוכם: 182 דונם שימשו למטעים וקרקע להשקיה, 556 שימשו לגידול דגנים,[11] ואילו 2 דונם היו אדמות בנויות.[12]

לצורך בניית גדר ההפרדה הופקעו כ- 100 דונם מאדמות הכפר.[13]

בשטח הכפר יש 4 בארות ארטזיות וכן בורות לאיסוף ואצירת מי גשמים. בשנת 2009 הוקמה רשת מים מודרנית על ידי האיחוד האירופאי.[13]
