Prince Kofi Amoabeng (an haife shi a ranar 22 ga watan Fabrairu, 1952) ɗan kasuwa ɗan ƙasar Ghana ne kuma tsohon hafsan soja na rundunar sojojin Ghana. Ya kasance wanda ya kafa bankin UT wanda ya ruguje a shekarar 2017 a lokacin da kasar Ghana ke fama da rikicin bankunan da ake zarginsa da karkatar da kudaden bankin.[1][2][3][4][5][6] A halin yanzu yana fuskantar shari'ar kotu game da wadannan zarge-zargen biyo bayan kama shi a ranar 14 ga Janairu, 2020, an kuma bayar da belinsa na cedis miliyan 110. [7][8][9]
Amoabeng ya fara karatunsa ne a makarantar Preparatory na Penworth, makarantar kwana a Accra.[11] Ya yi karatunsa na sakandare a Sakandaren St Peter da ke Nkwatia Kwahu da Adisadel College da ke Cape Coast Ghana kafin ya wuce Jami’ar Ghana domin yin digiri na farko. Ya sami digiri na farko na Kimiyya a fannin gudanarwa a shekarar 1975 tare da babbar daraja na 2nd (second class upper) daga Makarantar Kasuwanci ta Ghana.[11][12] Bayan ya shiga aikin soja, ya samu gurbin karatu daga ma’aikatar tsaro don yin kwas a Royal Army Pay Corps, inda ya cancanci zama akawu a cikin watanni 18 kuma ya yanke shawarar komawa gida bayan kammala karatunsa. [13]

A watan Janairun 2020, an tuhumi Amoabeng da yin almubazzaranci da jimillar kudin Ghana cedi miliyan 59.9 daga bankin UT, kasancewar shi ne wanda ya kafa bankin da ya ruguje a lokacin rikicin bankunan Ghana.[16] Daga baya an soke tuhume-tuhumen na asali kuma masu gabatar da kara sun yi niyyar gabatar da wasu tuhume-tuhume.[17]
