Pounded yam ko Íyàn abinci ne na Najeriya daga kabilar Yarbawa, Igbo, Ebira da Tiv.[1][2] Ana yin ta ne a al'ada ta hanyar bugun dawa da aka daka, a kwaba dawa a yanka shi kanana, a tafasa shi ya yi laushi sannan a yi ta da turmi.[3][4] Pounded yam wanda shine Ingilishi na íyan yana kama da dankalin da aka daka amma ya fi nauyi, abinci ne mai santsi da daɗi wanda aka saba ci da hannu.[5][6][7]
Ana amfani da Íyan a Edo, Benue, Ijesha, Ondo jihar da Ekiti a Najeriya. Wasu na ganin ya samo asali ne daga jihar Edo. Ana iya ba da shi da miya daban-daban kamar su Egusi, Miyar Ganyen Jute (Ewedu), Alayyahu (Efo Riro) da miyar okra.[8][9][10]

Nau'in doya da ake amfani da shi wajen tumba dawa ita ce dodon Afirka wanda ya zama ruwan dare a Afirka da wasu sassan Asiya.[19] Hakanan ana kiranta da doya na puna, doya na gaskiya ko fari.[20][21] Tsarin yana da ƙaƙƙarfan fata mai launin ruwan kasa da nama mara-fari, tsayin ya fito daga dankali na yau da kullun har zuwa tsayin ƙafa 5.
Doya na puna shine amfanin gona na tsabar kuɗi da ake samu a duk shekara ba kamar sauran amfanin gona da ke kan lokaci ba. Sauran nau’in doya sun hada da dawa purple, dawar daji, farar dawa, da kasar Sin da kuma dawa na ruwa.[22][23]
Doya na Afirka yana da wadatar carbohydrates da adadin kuzari. Ko da yake ba ta da furotin don haka ana iya daidaita shi da kwai da miya.[24][25][26]

Pounded yam yana tafiya tare da egusi, miyan okro, Efo riro, Miyar Banga (Ofe Akwu), Miyan ogbono da Miyar Gbegiri.[27][28] An fi cin abincin da miyar egusi mai dadi da aka yi da irin guna, tumatir, albasa da jan dabino.[29][30][31]
