Íñigo Quintero Dolz del Castellar, nado o 12 de decembro de 2001 na Coruña,[1] é un cantante e compositor galego que colleu sona internacional grazas a unha soa canción, coa que chegou a ser número un mundial en Spotify.[2]

Traxectoria

Naceu nunha familia de farmacéuticos, de conviccións relixiosas católicas[3], con oito irmáns,[3] e viviu ata os doce anos en Pontedeume.[1][4] Estudou a escola e mais o bacharelato no colexio privado Peñarredonda, da Coruña, e logo marchou a Madrid a estudar un dobre grao de Dereito e Administración e Dirección de Empresas[4] na Universidade Villanueva,[1] unha universidade privada vencellada ao Opus Dei e con sede en Madrid. No primeiro curso, coincidindo cunha crise persoal, mudou a súa carreira por Psicoloxía e Maxisterio.[1] Musicalmente, aprendeu algo de piano en Pontedeume, pero ao mudarse á Coruña aos 12 non proseguiu no conservatorio. Porén, si continuou con clases nunha escola privada coruñesa.[4]

Creou en 2022 un par de cancións que distribuíu en Spotify e que non tiveron impacto. Pero a terceira, chamada Si no estás (Se non estás, en galego) popularizouse logo duns meses grazas a ser empregada como base sonora para vídeos de moitas outras persoas en Tiktok e grazas a unha campaña de promoción e márketing dos seus produtores e distribuidores, Acqustic e Believe.[2] Como resultado, Quintero conseguiu 27 millóns de subscritores en Spotify e que a súa canción fose a máis escoitada do mundo nesa rede,[1] superando os 330 millóns de escoitas (datos de decembro de 2023), así como máis de 100 millóns de reproducións en YouTube do vídeo (que é apenas un xogo de grafismos sobre a música).[5]

En outubro de 2023 fixo a súa primeira actuación profesional pública en Madrid, nun festival de Cadena 100.

É afeccionado á vela deportiva.[6]
