Transmisor

Un transmisor é un dispositivo electrónico que, coa axuda dunha antena, propaga un sinal electromagnético,[1][2] que pode ser de radio, televisión ou outras telecomunicacións.

O transmisor de radio está composto por un circuíto amplificador e un circuíto de saída. Usando un transmisor de radio, é posible comunicarse con outra persoa que teña un receptor de radio e cuxo receptor de radio estea sintonizado coa mesma frecuencia de transmisión. A voz e os datos pódense transmitir a través dun transmisor de radio.

O transmisor tamén pode transmitir vídeo, pero a súa enxeñaría é lixeiramente diferente do transmisor de radio, o que lle permite transmitir imaxes.

O transceptor é o acrónimo de transmisor e receptor e na súa enxeñaría está composto por ambos elementos, posibilitando a recepción e transmisión de sinais de radio.
