O río Pechora (tamén transliterado como Petchora) (en komi, Печӧра; ruso: Пясина nenezo, Санэроˮ яха ) é un río do norte da Rusia europea que desemboca no mar do mesmo nome (no mar de Barents, océano Ártico).[1] [2]Ten unha lonxitude de 1809 km[2] (6° máis longo de Europa) e drena unha conca de 322 000 km². Administrativamente, discorre pola república de Komi e o distrito autónomo de Nenetsia.

Xeografía

O Pechora nace nos Montes Urais, en Rusia e termina no mar Pechora, pasando por varias cidades, entre elas Pechora, que dá nome ao río.[1] Pola súa posición nos meses de inverno permanece conxelado, mentres que o resto do ano pódese navegar por el.[3]
