Les morts ont tous la même peau é unha novela negra en lingua francesa, escrita por Boris Vian e publicada en 1947 co pseudónimo de Vernon Sullivan.

Trama

Dan é un home mestizo de Nova York que logrou facerse un lugar na sociedade dos homes brancos, sen que estes coñezan as súas orixes. Casado e cun fillo, a súa vida discorre como porteiro nun club até que un día un home que di ser o seu irmán faille chantaxe e ameaza con desvelar as súas verdadeiras raíces. Dan decide asasinalo, o que o leva a novos problemas e novos crimes.

Características

A obra foi unhas das primeiras novelas negras ambientadas no mundo negro do barrio do Bronx, na mesma época en que comezaban autores como Chester Himes. Ao tempo, o tratamento da violencia polo protagonista desde un punto de vista tranquilo, relaciona esta obra coa de Jim Thompson[1].
