Isabel Alba Rico nada en Madrid o 6 de abril de 1959 é unha escritora, guionista e fotógrafa feminista española.

Traxectoria

Licenciouse en Filosofía pola Universidade Complutense de Madrid e desde 1994 reside en San Sebastián.

Foi guionista de radio, cine e televisión, en programas como La bola de cristal ou Barrio Sésamo.[1] Foi membro da Asociación Profesional de Guionistas de Euskal Herría, da que foi presidenta entre 1999 e 2002. En 2012 dirixiu o documental Será feminista o no será.[2]

Impartiu cursos e obradoiros de guión para mozos e aulas de Linguaxe Audiovisual para nenas, nenos e adolescentes.[3]

Xunto á docencia no ámbito audiovisual, dedicouse a actividades artísticas como fotógrafa e escritora. Publicou a súa primeira novela, Baby Spot en 2003.

Premios e honras

  • Finalista do Premio Euskadi de Literatura 2012 coa novela La verdadera historia de Matías Bran.[5]
