Dinamita pa los pollos foi un grupo musical español que naceu a mediados dos oitenta na vila biscaíña de Ortuella.

Formación

O grupo formábano Roberto Capitán mondo Mata (ex Los Jefes), que era o guitarrista e o encargado da maioría das composicións, o cantante Javier Zaitegui –Javi 90– (tamén exmembro de Los Jefes e encargado de facer un fanzine por aquela época chamado Nervous Breakdown), Óscar Wildcat Calleja, co baixo, Miguel Tejón Labanda, á batería, e as Bloody Marys nos coros. As Bloody Marys eran as irmás Nela e Reyes Torío, e Ana Ayala que abandonou o grupo tras o primeiro disco.

Carreira

En 1987, sacan o seu primeiro traballo Bienvenidos al gallinero en formato casete, no selo independente Discos Suicidas. Hoxe en día está totalmente descatalogado.

En 1988 aparece un mini álbum titulado No molestes a Pa' cuando está trabajando, coa compañía GASA, onde rescatan cinco cancións do Bienvenidos al gallinero, que son regrabadas e ademais engaden unha versión do coñecido tema The Loco-Motion. Con este disco van ser cada vez máis as persoas que se fixen neles. Neste traballo está o coñecido tema Bourbon.

Así, en 1989, aparece Purita Dinamita, producido por Paco Trinidad, un disco que será nunhas semanas disco de ouro, supondo o triunfo para o grupo biscaíño. Temas como Billy Joe, Toro mecánico ou Pandilleros arrasan nas radios converténdoos en clásicos da banda. Nestes primeiros anos o grupo estivo apoiado por Juanra Viles, batería de Duncan Dhu naqueles anos.

Sin rodeos será o título do seguinte álbum que aparece en 1990, un disco menos comercial, máis country rock que todos os anteriores, máis tranquilo e máis elaborado. Tamén foi producido por Paco Trinidad, aínda que non tivo tanto éxito como Purita Dinamita. Dous anos despois gravaron Juntos y revueltos, producido por Colin Farley, pero o disco non tivo tanto éxito como os anteriores. Pouco despois o contrato coa compañía acabóuselles e non foron renovados. O grupo disolveuse pouco despois, cando apareceron certas diferenzas musicais.
