Conferencia de Uqair

A Conferencia de Uqair celebrouse na cidade de Uqair en decembro de 1922 para dirimir as fronteiras entre Iraq, Arabia Saudita e Kuwait, participou unha delegación británica encabezada por Percy Zachariah Cox e outra saudita encabezada polo sultán de Nejd, Abdul Aziz Al-Saud, tamén estaban presentes unha delegación do mandato británico en Iraq encabezada por Subaih Nashat e o axente británico en Kuwait, John More.

As fronteiras que se estableceron como consecuencia desta conferencia comportaron unha redución do territorio kuwaití en beneficio de Arabia Saudita e a creación dunha zona neutral entre o sur de Iraq e o norte de Arabia Saudita e outra ao sur de Kuwait.
