L’École Normale Supérieure de Porto-Novo (ENS/PN) est un établissement béninois d’enseignement supérieur et de recherche situé à Porto-Novo, dans le département de l'Ouémé.

L'école normale supérieure de Porto-Novo[1],[2],[3] est un établissement public d’enseignement supérieur et de recherche en sciences de l’éducation. Elle à pour but d'assurer la formation initiale et le perfectionnement des acteurs du système éducatif béninois et plus distinctement des enseignants du secondaire et du supérieur[4],[5].

La durée des formations à l'Ens-Porto-novo est variable. En effet quand l'on y entre avec un diplômes de maîtrise, la formation initiale dure une année. Cette année de formation est sanctionnée par le certificat d’aptitude au professorat de l’enseignement secondaire (CAPES) ou brevet d’aptitude au professorat de l’enseignement secondaire (BAPES)[6],[4],[7],[8].

L'histoire, la géographie, la philosophie, les lettres modernes, l'espagnol, l'anglais et l'allemand sont les principales matières enseignées à l'école Normale supérieure[2].
