- En héraldique, une vergette est un petit pal, rebattu cinq fois et au-delà;
- Dans les instruments de musique à clavier à cordes pincées, les vergettes sont les règles de bois des sautereaux guidées verticalement par les registres et pinçant directement chaque corde.
- Barre de fer carrée ou ronde, mince, qui sert à maintenir les panneaux des vitraux entre les barlotières.
