Radial magnétique
Radial[1] magnétique d'un point : Demi-droite partant d'un point repéré par une mesure angulaire à partir du nord magnétique (ou relèvement magnétique).
Radial (magnétique) d'un radiophare omnidirectionnel VHF (ou VOR) : Axe radioélectrique (demi-droite partant de la balise VOR) repéré par sa mesure angulaire à partir du nord magnétique (QDR).
Géométrie
Adjectif relatif au rayon d'un cercle :
- Lignes radiales : lignes partant d'un point et formant des rayons d'un cercle ;
- Route radiale (ou radiale par substantivation) : voie rejoignant le centre d'une ville, par opposition au boulevard périphérique (exemple : Radiale Baraki) ;
- Croissance radiale : variation du rayon pour une surface circulaire.
