Nicolas Ribowski, né le à Neuilly-Plaisance, est un réalisateur français.

Biographie

Enfant de parents déportés, Nicolas Ribowski a été caché par une famille de Moissac (Tarn-et-Garonne) jusqu’à la fin de la Seconde Guerre mondiale. Il réalisera deux documentaires sur ce sujet : un sur les personnes qui l'ont sauvé (Shatta et Bouli Simon)[1] en 2005 et un autre sur les Justes en 2007).

Il est le frère de Malka Ribowska.

Sous le nom de Nicolas Rybowsky, il commence sa carrière comme assistant-réalisateur d'Alain Cavalier, Jean-Paul Rappeneau et Jacques Tati. Il se tourne ensuite vers la réalisation de téléfilms et d'épisodes de séries télévisées. Il signe quelques films pour le cinéma dont Une affaire d'hommes avec Claude Brasseur et Jean-Louis Trintignant en 1981.
