Léa Dubois ou Léa Zire Dubois née en 1968, est une actrice comédienne, productrice et réalisatrice ivoirienne. Elle est auteure de deux films.

Biographie

Léa Dubois naît en 1968[1],[2]. Elle fait ses débuts dans l’émission télé « Comment ça va ? » de Léonard Groguhet. Actuellement scénariste, elle a créé une troupe théâtrale avant de s’essayer à la réalisation[3]. Elle a été victime d'un cancer de sein durant trois ans et a bénéficié pour ses soins de l'aide du président de la république de Côte d'Ivoire[4],[5]. Elle est la fondatrice de la troupe « katahua »[6].

Léa a plus de trente années de scène à ce jour[6],[7]. Léa Dubois pour qui le diagnostic d’un cancer aux deux seins doublé d’une rétine pigmentaire, a bouleversé la vie, c’est sa petite famille, Frédérique, les jumelles Emmanuella alias Ozoua et Orely Dubois ainsi qu’un fils adopté qui fait aujourd’hui sa plus grande fierté et sa richesse. Débordante d’énergie, Léa Dubois entend vivre heureuse même si elle reste très marquée par la maladie, elle que la série ivoirienne « Comment ça va? » devenue plus tard « Qui fait ça? » a révélé au monde entier.

Élevée au rang d’Officier de l’ordre du mérite culturel ivoirien, voici les maladies qui ont mis à mal la santé de Léa Dubois, rétinite pigmentaire et cancer des seins. Depuis son enfance elle souffre de rétinite pigmentaire, une maladie oculaire qui se caractérise par une lésion du fond de l’œil. Son état de maladie est très avancé. Son œil gauche ne voit presque plus rien et l’œil droit voit vraiment flou. Pour ses soins, deux fois, elle est allée à Cuba. 5 ou 10ans avant un traitement aurait été possible[8]. Le cancer de seins la ronge pour le premier au sein gauche depuis 2013 et le deuxième au sein droit depuis 2018[8]. Grâce à une prise en charge du ministre d’État, Téné Birahima Ouattara, Léa Dubois part en Europe pour les soins de son sein gauche.
