Luke Thallon, né le à West Byfleet (Surrey), est un acteur britannique.

En 2022, il figure dans la liste des 25 créateurs de théâtre de demain établie par The Stage (en)[1].

Biographie

Il naît à West Byfleet, dans le comté de Surrey. Il est d’origine polonaise par son père, et d’ascendance allemande et irlandaise par sa mère[2]. Ses parents sont tous deux joueurs professionnels de volley-ball[1]. Avant de devenir acteur, il envisage une carrière de dentiste[3].

Il sort diplômé de la Guildhall School of Music and Drama en 2017[1],[4].

Carrière

En 2017, il est nommé au Emerging Talent Award des Evening Standard Theatre Awards (en) pour sa performance dans Albion de Mike Bartlett (en)[2]. En 2021, il remporte le Clarence Derwent Award pour son rôle dans Leopoldstadt (en) de Tom Stoppard[5]. La même année, il joue dans Camp Siegfried (en) de Bess Wohl[6].

En 2022, il figure dans la liste des 25 créateurs de théâtre de demain établie par The Stage (en)[1]. Il crée le rôle de Roman Abramovich dans la production Off West End de Patriots (en) de Peter Morgan, reprise par la suite au Noël Coward Theatre (en) dans le West End, puis au Théâtre Ethel Barrymore à Broadway[7].

En 2025, il est choisi pour incarner Quirinus Quirrell dans la série télévisée Harry Potter produite par HBO Max[8].
