Jan Kovář (né le à Písek en Tchécoslovaquie) est un joueur professionnel tchèque de hockey sur glace[1]. Il évolue au poste d'attaquant[2]. Il est le frère de Jakub Kovář.

Biographie

Carrière en club

Formé au IHC Písek, il débute dans l'Extraliga avec le HC Plzeň en 2008. Il remporte la 1.liga avec KLH Chomutov en 2011. Il aide le HC Plzeň à décrocher le titre national en 2013. Il signe ensuite au Metallourg Magnitogorsk dans la KHL pour sa première expérience à l'étranger. Il décroche la Coupe Gagarine 2014 et 2016 avec le Metallourg Magnitogorsk.

Il représente la République tchèque au niveau international. Il prend part aux sélections jeunes.
