Flying with Angels est un album studio de l'autrice-compositrice américaine Suzanne Vega sorti en 2025 chez Cooking Vinyl.
L'album est produit par le guitariste Gerry Leonard, qui travaille avec Suzanne Vega depuis 2001. C'est le premier album de Suzanne Vega à comporter des titres originaux depuis Tales from the Realm of the Queen of Pentacles (2014)[1]. À propos des paroles de l'album, Suzanne Vega a déclaré : « Chaque chanson de l'album se trouve dans un atmosphère de lutte. Lutte pour survivre, pour parler, pour dominer, pour gagner, pour fuir, pour aider quelqu'un d'autre, ou seulement vivre[2] ».
Les chansons Speakers Corner et Witch apportent son point de vue sur la désinformation, Last Train From Mariupol « avec sa majestueuse beauté, sa guitare qui sonne comme une bandoura et les chœurs envoûtants de sa fille Ruby Froom, est particulièrement poignant », et Chambermaid « est un joyeux hommage à Bob Dylan, un dialoque avec sa muse masculine, écrite depuis la perspective de la ffemme de chambre dans sa chanson de 1965 I Want You[3] ».
