Ellsworth est une municipalité américaine située dans le comté de Grafton au New Hampshire. Selon le recensement de 2010, sa population est de 83 habitants[1].

Géographie

La municipalité s'étend sur 21,49 milles carrés (55,66 km2), dont 0,12 milles carrés (0,31 km2) d'étendues d'eau[1].

Histoire

La localité est fondée en 1769 et nommée en l'honneur de Barlow Trecothick. Elle devient une municipalité en 1802 et adopte son nom actuel, en l'honneur d'Oliver Ellsworth, président de la Cour suprême[2].

Au , Ellsworth est la dernière dry town du New Hampshire, interdisant la vente de boissons alcoolisées[3].
