Le district de Chal akyn (kazakh : Шал ақын ауданы) est un district du Kazakhstan-Septentrional au Kazakhstan[2].
Géographie
La superficie du district est de 4 840 kilomètres carrés et son chef-lieu est Sergueïev[3].
Le district de Chal akyn est limitrophe du district de Djamboul au nord, du district de Timiryazev à l'ouest, du district d'Esil et du district d'Aiyrtaou à l'est, ainsi que du district de Gabit Musirepov au sud.
La rivière Ichim et ses affluents, l'Iman-Burluk, la Baganaty et la Chudasay, traversent le district[2].
Le réservoir de Sergueïev, construit en 1966, contient 693 millions de mètres cubes d'eau, sa profondeur varie de 7 à 20 mètres et son barrage mesure 280 mètres de long[2]. On compte environ 100 lacs dans le district, dont les plus grands sont le lac Kichi Torangyl et le lac Jaltyr[2].
Le district est traversé par la route KZ15-09.
