Le Club des D.A., ou Club des directeurs artistiques, est une association de professionnels de la communication et du graphisme, fondée à Paris en 1967. Elle s'inspire de l'Art Directors Club of New York, fondé en 1920.

Histoire

Les statuts de l'Association (loi 1901) ont été déposés le . Le premier bureau était composé de Michel Coudeyre, Émile Laugier, Jean-Marie Leydier, Philippe Lorin et Daniel Malissen[1]. Il est présidé depuis 2022 par Sylvain Thirache, 18e président, fondateur de Sid Lee Paris, qui succède à Marie-Catherine Dupuy, de l'agence BDDP.

Prix

Chaque année depuis 1968, le Club des D.A. remet des dizaines de prix dans de nombreux domaines : Communication Extérieure & Print ; Communication Film ; Communication Direct & Activation ; Communication Grandes causes ; Communication Mode ; Communication Craft Image ; Communication Craft Rédaction & Audio ; Communication Craft D.A. ; Produits Digitaux ; Innovations Digitales ; Communication Digitale ; Production Films ; Production Clip Musical ; Production Son ; Design Branding ; Design typographique ; Design graphique ; Design animé ; Concours Étudiant. Un jury spécifique est constitué pour chaque prix.

Il existe cinq niveaux de distinctions pour les projets primés : shortlist ; troisième prix ; deuxième prix ; premier prix. Enfin, un prix d'Excellence, qui n'est pas nécessairement remis chaque année, récompense un travail particulièrement remarquable.
