La saison 2007-2008 de Prva Crnogoska Liga était la deuxième édition de la première division monténégrine.

Lors de celle-ci, le Zeta Golubovci a tenté de conserver son titre de champion face aux onze meilleurs clubs monténégrins lors d'une série de matchs se déroulant sur toute l'année.

Les douze clubs participants à la première phase de championnat ont été confrontés à deux reprises aux onze autres. En fonction du classement établi au terme de cette première phase, chaque équipe a ensuite affronté une fois de plus les onze autres afin d'attribuer le titre de champion.

C'est le Buducnost Podgorica qui a été sacré champion du Monténégro pour la première fois de son histoire.

Trois places étaient qualificatives pour les compétitions européennes, la quatrième place étant celles du vainqueur de la Crnogorski Fudbalski Kup 2007-2008.

Qualifications en coupe d'Europe

À l'issue de la saison, le champion s'est qualifié pour le 1er tour de qualification de la Ligue des champions 2008-2009.

Le vainqueur de la Crnogorski Fudbalski Kup a pris la première place en Coupe UEFA 2008-2009. L'autre place en Coupe UEFA est revenue au deuxième du championnat.

Enfin le quatrième du championnat, le troisième ayant décliné l'invitation, s'est qualifié pour la Coupe Intertoto 2008.

Le classement est établi sur le barème de points classique (victoire à 3 points, match nul à 1, défaite à 0).

Pour départager les égalités, on tient d'abord compte de la différence de buts générale, puis du nombre de buts marqués, puis des confrontations directes et enfin si la qualification ou la relégation est en jeu, les deux équipes jouent une rencontre d'appui sur terrain neutre.
