L'Axa Women's Super League 2020-2021 est la 51e édition du championnat de Suisse féminin de football, opposant les huit meilleurs clubs de football féminin de Suisse, et la première sous cette appellation. Les huit équipes qui se rencontrent deux fois en match aller et retour. Le championnat précédent a été arrête le 29 février 2020 en raison de la pandémie de Covid-19[1].

Comme il n'y a pas eu de relégations ni promotions, ce sont les mêmes équipes qui jouent cette saison.

Déroulement de la compétition

Les huit équipes s'affrontent chacune quatre fois dans une poule unique. Une victoire vaut 3 points, un match nul un point et une défaite zéro point. À l'issue de la compétition, les deux premières équipes sont qualifiées pour la Ligue des championnes 2021-2022, tandis que la dernière équipe affronte la troisième équipe de deuxième division dans un barrage aller-retour de promotion/relégation (les deux meilleures équipes de deuxième division sont automatiquement promues, pour atteindre à 10 équipes en 2021-2022).

Après avoir fini la saison précédente en tête du championnat à l'arrêt de la compétition, le Servette FC Chênois décroche enfin son premier titre de champion de Suisse. C'est le premier club romand à inscrire son nom au palmarès depuis le FC Sion en 1977. Le FC Lugano termine à la dernière place, mais se maintient en dominant le FC Thoune en barrages. Le FC Aarau et le FC Yverdon Féminin sont promus.
