Sewardin niemimaa.

Sewardin niemimaa on niemimaa läntisessä Alaskassa. Se työntyy Beringininmerelle Beringinsalmen, Nortoninlahden, Tšuktšimeren ja Kotzebuensalmen välissä. Niemimaa on kooltaan noin 53 400 neliökilometriä. Sen pituus on noin 290 kilometriä ja leveys 210 kilometriä. Keskikorkeus niemimaalla on noin 600 metriä.[1] Korkein kohta löytyy Kigluaik-vuorilta, joiden korkein kohta Mount Osborn on 1 437 metrin korkuinen.[1][2]

Prince of Walesin niemi on niemimaan läntisin kärki ja Amerikan mantereen läntisin kohta, josta on matkaa Venäjän ja Yhdysvaltain merirajalle noin 15 kilometriä. Sen pohjoisin kohta on napapiirillä.[1] Niemimaa nimettiin vuonna 1898 Alaskan Yhdysvalloille hankkineen William H. Sewardin mukaan.[3]
