Red Crag (RCG) on Itä-Englannissa oleva punaista maata sisältävä kerrostuma, joka on noin 2,6 miljoonaa vuotta vanha ja osuu nykyisen laskutavan mukaan pleistoseenin jääkausien alkuun (Gela-vaihe). Tämän seudun kerrostumien nimissä esiintyvä termi crag tarkoittaa simpukan- tai kotilonkuorta sisältävään hiekkaa. Red Cragin punainen väri johtuu rautayhdisteistä.

Itä-Angliassa sijaitseva Red Crag on hiekkaista ja mereistä. Kerrostumasta löytyy paikoin ns. kryogeenisiä, jäätymiseen liittyviä tekijöitä eli merkkejä ikiroudasta. Punainen kerrostuma on terävärajainen, alempana kerrostuma on muuttumaton. Kerrostumasta ovat kalsiittimineraalit poistuneet ja punainen rauta jäänyt jäljelle. Oletetaan tämän tapahtuneen ikiroudan sulaessa aina kesäisin. Sulavesi on muokannut liuottamalla mineraaleja. Red Cragiin on joutunut mm. mioseenikauden hain hampaita. Red Cragia on löydetty mm. Ludhamista.

Kerrostumaa edeltää Coralline Crag CGC, ja sitä seuraa Norwich Crag (MIS 81-68). Red Crag vaihtuu joissain paikoissa ilman selvää rajaa Norwich Cragiin, johon liittyy Englannin vanhin jäätikön asema, Chillesford Sandin muodostuma Luoteis-Essexin seuduilla.
