Peukalo-Liisa (tansk. Tommelise) on tanskalaisen Hans Christian Andersenin satu, jonka hän julkaisi ensimmäisen kerran vuonna 1835 Kööpenhaminassa.[1][2]

Juoni

Varoitus: Seuraava kirjoitus paljastaa yksityiskohtia juonesta.

Eräänä päivänä muuan nainen kysyy vanhalta noidalta, miten hän voisi saada lapsen. Noita vastaa: ”Istuta tämä siemen purkkiin ja katso mitä tapahtuu!”. Siemenestä kasvaa kuin kasvaakin valtava tulppaani, jonka sisällä istuu hyvin pieni tyttö, noin peukalon kokoinen. Nainen nimeää hänet Peukalo-Liisaksi. Eräänä päivänä, kun Peukalo-Liisa on nukkumassa, sammakot kaappaavat hänet. Kovakuoriaiset pelastavat hänet, mutta hylkäävät metsään. Sieltä Liisa löytää asuinpaikan erään hiiren luota. Lopussa hän menee naimisiin kokoisensa prinssin kanssa.[3]
