Patrick Wackström

Patrick Rafael Wackström (s. 6. syyskuuta 1958 Porvoon maalaiskunta) on suomalainen kilpapyöräilijä.

Wackström edusti Suomea kaksissa olympialaisissa. Moskovassa 1980 hän sijoittui 100 kilometrin joukkueajossa seitsemänneksi yhdessä Harry Hannuksen, Kari Puiston ja nuoremman veljensä Sixten Wackströmin kanssa. Los Angelesissa 1984 hän sijoittui henkilökohtaisessa 190,2 kilometrin maantieajossa 38:nneksi sekä 100 kilometrin joukkueajossa 13:nneksi yhdessä Harry Hannuksen, Kari Myyryläisen ja Sixten Wackströmin kanssa.

Patrick Wackström edusti Suomea vuosien 1977, 1978, 1979, 1981, 1982, 1983 ja 1985 MM-kilpailuissa. Nuorten MM-kilpailuissa vuonna 1976 hän sijoittui henkilökohtaisessa maantieajossa 12:nneksi ja 3 000 metrin takaa-ajossa 20:nneksi. Pohjoismaiden mestaruuskilpailuissa hän voitti kultaa 100 kilometrin joukkueajossa vuonna 1982 ja saavutti pronssia henkilökohtaisessa maantieajossa vuonna 1982 sekä joukkueajossa vuosina 1980 ja 1983.

Seuratasolla Patrick Wackström edusti Porvoon Akillesta. Hän voitti maantie- ja ratalajeissa vuosina 1977–1983 yhteensä yhdeksän henkilökohtaista Suomen-mestaruutta ja useita joukkuemestaruuksia. Hän ajoi useita Suomen ennätyksiä, muun muassa 4 000 metrin takaa-ajossa ajan 4.56,8 vuonna 1981.

Patrick Wackström on toiminut Suomen Pyöräilyunionin hallituksessa. Hänen isänsä Ole Wackström oli 1960-luvulla Suomen parhaita kilpapyöräilijöitä.

Wackström oli Porvoon Energia Oy:n toimitusjohtaja vuosina 2006–2021.[1] Hän sai energianeuvoksen arvonimen vuonna 2019.[2]
