Otto Talanne (aiemmin Dahlqvist; 11. joulukuuta 1884 Oulu – 22. maaliskuuta 1939 Oulu)[2][3] oli suomalainen näyttelijä, teatterinjohtaja ja lavastaja. Hän teki valtaosan urastaan Oulun Työväen Näyttämöllä eri tehtävissä.[1]

Ura

Dahlqvistin vanhemmat olivat verhoilija Johan Valfrid Dahlqvist ja Anna Elisabeth Hurnanen. Hän aloitti näyttelijän uransa Oulun Työväen Näyttämöllä vuonna 1904 ja työskenteli siellä kahdeksantoista vuotta. 1920-luvulla Dahlqvist toimi työväen näyttämöiden johtajana Joensuussa, Pietarsaaressa, Ensossa ja Uuraalla. Vuonna 1929 hän aloitti Oulun Työväen Näyttämön johtajana.[1]

Dahlqvist näytteli muun muassa Nummisuutareiden Mikko Vilkastuksen ja Iivarin sekä Seitsemän veljeksen Simeonin ja kanttorin. Laulunäytelmässä Tukkijoella Dahlqvist teki Rättärin ja Huotarin osat.[1]

Dahlqvist suoritti verhoilijan opin isänsä verhoilijan liikkeessä. Verhoilijan työnsä lomassa Dahlqvist otti paljon osaa yhdistysrientoihin, kuuluen jo nuorena näytelmä- ja lauluseuroihin sekä Oulun Työväenyhdistyksen huvi- ja juhlatoimikuntiin. Oulun Työväenyhdistyksen mieskuoro Oraksen jäsenenä hän oli vuodesta 1903, ollen sanotun kuoron johtajana pariinkin otteeseen. Hän oli myös useiden torvisoittokuntien ja orkesterien jäsen. Muun muassa soittajana Pohjanmaan Jääkäripataljoonan ja Uudenmaan rykmentin soittokunnissa ja Oulun Työväenyhdistyksen torvisoittokunnassa Talanne oli useita vuosia. Viimeiset vuotensa Talanne asui Oulussa harjoittaen verhoilijan ammattia ja toimien iltanäyttelijänä Oulun Näyttämöllä. Talanne kuoli keuhkokuumeeseen Oulun lääninsairaalassa.[2][3][4]
