Norjan kansanäänestys Euroopan yhteisön jäsenyydestä pidettiin 25. syyskuuta 1972. Pitkän kuuman väittelyjen jälkeen jäsenyyden vastustajat voittivat 53,5 prosentilla äänistä. Pääministeri Trygve Bratteli erosi tappion seurauksena[1]. Tämä oli Norjan toinen yritys tulla Euroopan yhteisön (EY) jäseneksi sen jälkeen, kun Ranska esti sen vuonna 1962 ja uudelleen tilapäisesti vuonna 1967, mutta ensimmäinen yritys kansanäänestyksellä jonka aikana Norjalla oli täysin neuvotellut liittymisehdot EY:n kanssa.

Vuoden 1994 kansanäänestyksessä Euroopan unioniin liittymisestä tulokseksi tuli myös jäsenyyden hylkääminen.
