Margaret C. "Peg" Snyder (1929 – 26. tammikuuta 2021[1]) oli amerikkalainen yhteiskuntatieteilijä, joka työssään keskittyi kehittyvien maiden talouden, erityisesti Afrikan maiden, ja naisten oikeuksien kehitykseen. Hän perusti johtajakaudellaan YK:n naisten kehitysrahaston (UNIFEM), joka yhdistettiin vuonna 2011 perustettuun Yhdistyneiden kansakuntien tasa-arvojärjestöön (UN Women).

Snyder syntyi Syracusessa New Yorkin osavaltiossa vuonna 1929. Hän valmistui sosiologian kandidaatiksi New Rochellen yliopistosta vuonna 1950. Sosiologian maisterin tutkinnon hän suoritti 1952 Amerikan katolisessa yliopistossa [2]
