Logan Conrad Mader (s. 16. marraskuuta 1970 Montreal, Quebec, Kanada) on kanadalainen musiikkituottaja sekä kitaristi. Mader tunnetaan parhaiten metalliyhtye Machine Headin yhtenä perustajana. Nykyään Mader soittaa kitaraa metalliyhtye Once Humanissa.

Mader soitti Machine Headissa kitaraa vuosina 1991-1998 ollen mukana ennätyslukuja myyneellä debyyttialbumi Burn My Eyesilla, sekä kakkosalbumilla The More Things Change... Mader lähti Machine Headista vuonna 1998 ja kertoi syyksi halun keskittää energian ja ajan muihin projekteihin.[1][2]

Mader perusti Dirty Icon Productions -nimisen tuotantoyhtiön, jonka kautta hän on tuottanut mm. Gojiran, DevilDriverin sekä W.A.S.P.:n albumeita.

Ura

Machine Head, Soulfly sekä Medication

Machine Head perustettiin lokakuun 12. päivä vuonna 1991 Maderin, Robb Flynnin, Adam Ducen sekä Tony Costanzan kesken. Mader soitti yhtyeessä kahden albumin verran alkuvuoteen 1998 asti, jonka jälkeen hän liittyi Soulflyhin heidän maailmankiertueen ajaksi. Mader oli Soulflyssa vain kahdeksan kuukauden ajan ja Quilombo -nimisen kappaleen uudelleenmiksaus oli ainoa tallenne, jolla hän oli mukana tänä aikana. Mader lähti Soulflysta tammikuussa 1999. Mader on myös mukana Soulflysta lähdön jälkeen julkaistulla Tribe -nimisellä EP:llä.

Mader perusti piakkoin Soulflyn jälkeen Ugly Kid Joe -yhtyeen alkuperäisvokalisti Whitfield Cranen kanssa rock-yhtyeen Medication, joka hajosi vuonna 2003 monista sisäisistä ongelmista johtuen.[3]

Stereo Black, Once Human ja tuottajaura

Kesäkuussa 2003 Mader perusti uuden yhtyeen nimeltä New Black, jonka nimi kuitenkin vaihtui piakkoin muotoon Stereo Black.[4][5] Yhtye ei ikinä saanut levytyssopimusta, vaikka kiersi Teslan ja Hed PE:n kanssa, äänitti demon sekä sai internetissä paljon huomiota.[6]

Kappale Inside esiintyy Max Payne -elokuvan mainoksessa, The Butterfly Effect 2 -elokuvan trailerissa sekä elokuvassa Never Back Down 2: The Beatdown. Fall Again -kappaleen instrumentaaliversio esiintyy MotoGP '07 -videopelin soundtrackilla. Denial -kappale puolestaan esiintyy Scream 4 -elokuvan soundtrackilla.

Toukokuussa 2015 Mader ilmoitti perustaneensa uuden yhtyeen, Once Human, yhdessä Lauren Hartin (laulu), Damian Rainauld (bassokitara) sekä Ralph Alexander (rummut) kanssa. Yhtye teki levytyssopimuksen earMUSICin kanssa ja julkaisi debyyttialbuminsa, The Life I Remember, syyskuussa 2015.[7] Once Human kiersi Yhdysvalloissa yhdessä Fear Factoryn, The Bloodlinen sekä Before the Mourningin kanssa elo-syyskuussa. [8]

Vuonna 2017 Mader päätti, että hän halusi keskittyä pelkkästään musiikin tuottamiseen.[9]

Maaliskuussa 2019 Machine Head ilmoitti Maderin sekä rumpali Chris Kontoksen palaavan yhtyeeseen kiertuejäseninä debyyttialbumi Burn My Eyesin 25-vuotisjuhlakiertueen ajaksi.[10][11]
