Linsey Godfrey (s. 25. heinäkuuta 1988 Stuart, Florida) on yhdysvaltalainen näyttelijä, joka tunnetaan parhaiten roolistaan Caroline Spencerinä saippuasarjassa Kauniit ja rohkeat.

Ura

Hän on näytellyt muun muassa tieteissarjassa Surface (2006). Hänellä oli sarjassa sivurooli yhden päähenkilön tyttöystävänä, mutta NBC lopetti sarjan tuotannon yhden kauden jälkeen. Godfrey ehti esiintyä viidessä jaksossa. Godfrey esittää pääroolia Timothy J. Nelsonin ohjaamassa perhe-elokuvassa The Assignment, jonka kuvaukset aloitettiin jo vuonna 2008 ja jonka oli tarkoitus ilmestyä elokuvateattereihin keväällä 2009[1]. Elokuva ilmestyi suoraan DVD:lle joulukuussa 2011.[2]

Keväällä 2012 Godfrey sai roolin Kauniit ja rohkeat -saippuasarjasta, jossa hän näyttelee Caroline Spenceriä, Karen Spencerin tytärtä.[3]

Yksityiselämä

Kesäkuussa 2006 19-vuotiaalla Godfreyllä todettiin Hodgkinin tauti, josta hän kuitenkin toipui. Tautiin liittyneiden hoitojen vuoksi hän joutui pitämään vuoden tauon näyttemisestä.[4] Parannuttuaan hän esiintyi marraskuussa 2007 rikossarjassa Todistettavasti syyllinen yhden jakson mittaisessa roolissa.

Godfrey seurusteli Tunteissa ja tuoksuissa näyttelevän Robert Adamsonin kanssa. Pariskunta sai ensimmäisen lapsensa vuonna 2014.[5] Elokuussa 2015 heidän kerrottiin eronneen.[6]
