Kuwaitin naisten jääkiekkomaajoukkue

Kuwaitin naisten jääkiekkomaajoukkue edustaa Kuwaitia naisten kansainvälisissä jääkiekko-otteluissa. Joukkue koottin ensimmäistä kertaa vuonna 2007, mutta sen toiminta hiipui.[1] Kuwaitin naisten maajoukkue osallistui ensimmäisen kerran naisten kansainväliseen turnaukseen lokakuussa 2017.[2] Tuolloin maassa oli 443 rekisteröityä pelaajaa, joista naisten osuus oli 246 kiekkoilijaa.[2] Miehiä oli vähemmän, vajaat sata.[2]

Joukkue osallistui keväällä 2019 IIHF:n Women’s Challenge Cup of Asian 1. divisioonan kilpailuihin Abu Dhabissa Yhdistyneissä arabiemiirikunnissa.[3][1] Syksyllä 2019 naisjääkiekkoilijoita oli runsaat 200.[3] Naisten maajoukkueessa pelasi kolmoissiskokset, ja heidän lisäkseen joukkuueessa pelasi kaksi muuta heidän siskoaan.[3]

Tammikuussa 2023 rekisteröityjä naisjääkiekkoilijoita oli 165, ja miehiä oli edelleen vähemmän, 130.[4] Toisin kuin miesten maajoukkuetta, Kuwaitin naisten jääkiekkomaajoukkuetta ei ollut tuolloin sijoitettu maailmanrankingissa.[4]
