Kivikirkon kalliomaalaus sijaitsee suuressa siirtolohkareessa Saimaalla Sulkavalla Etelä-Savossa. Tuhoutuneen kalliomaalauksen löysivät Hannu Poutiainen ja Timo Sepänmaa vuonna 1990.[1][2]

Siirtolohkare ja sen sijainti

Saimaalla, Enonveden ja Haapaselän yhdistävässä kapeassa Lajunvirran salmessa, makaa Partalansaaren länsiosassa Karjulanmäen Kiviniemen itäpuolella suuri siirtolohkare, jota kutsutaan Kivikirkoksi. Lohkareen mitat ovat 17 metriä pitkä, 5−6 metriä pitkä ja noin 10 metriäkorkea. Sen pohjoissivulla avautuu sen alle luolamainen syvennys, minkä takia kivi on yleisesti tunnettu. Nykyinen järvenranta sijaitsee 170 metriä lännessä.[3]

Maalaus

Maalaus löytyy kiven itäsivulta metrin korkeudelta ja sen koko on noin 1 neliömetri. Punaväriä on levitetty halkeaman ympärille, mutta kiven pinnan rapautuminen alueen keskeltä on tuhonnut maalauksen. Mitään selviä kuvioita ei enää erotu.[1][3]

Kiven eteläkyljellä on myös punaväriä, mutta se lienee luonnon omaa värjäytymää.[4]
