Kari-Pekka Mäki-Lohiluoma

Kari-Pekka Mäki-Lohiluoma (s. 1962 Kauhajoki) on Kelan johtaja, jonka toimialaan Kelassa kuuluvat asiakkuus- ja etuuspalvelut. Tasavallan presidentti nimitti hänet tehtävään kesäkuussa 2015. Ennen Kelaan siirtymistään Mäki-Lohiluoma työskenteli Kuntaliiton toimitusjohtajana vuosina 2010-2015

Koulutukseltaan Mäki-Lohiluoma on hallintotieteiden maisteri Vaasan yliopistosta ja valtiotieteiden lisensiaatti Åbo Akademista.

Ennen Kuntaliittoa Mäki-Lohiluoma toimi kehitysjohtajana ja toimialajohtajana Suomen itsenäisyyden juhlarahastossa Sitrassa sekä eri tehtävissä muun muassa sisäasiainministeriössä. Vuodesta 2005 hän toimi Kuntaliiton varatoimitusjohtajana. Syyskuussa 2009 hänet valittiin Kuntaliiton toimitusjohtajaksi seitsemän vuoden määräajaksi eläkkeelle siirtyvän Risto Parjanteen seuraajaksi. Mäki-Lohiluoma aloitti tehtävässä vuoden 2010 alussa.[1] Kuntaliiton johdossa hänen toimialaansa kuuluivat muun muassa valtio-kuntasuhteen johto, liiton edunvalvonta, kunta- ja kaupunkipolitiikka, kuntakehitys, tuottavuus ja tutkimustoiminta, kansainväliset suhteet ja EU-asiat ja viestintä.[2]

Toukokuussa 2015 Kelan johtoryhmä esitti Mäki-Lohiluomaa nimitettäväksi Kelan johtajaksi.[3] Kesäkuussa tasavallan presidentti nimitti hänet tehtävään, ja Mäki-Lohiluoma aloitti Kelassa lokakuun alussa.[4] Paikka vapautui Helena Pesolan jäädessä eläkkeelle.[5]

Mäki-Lohiluoma on toiminut lukuisissa yritysten ja julkishallinnon luottamustehtävissä. Hän oli muun muassa talousneuvoston jäsen vuosina 2010-2015 ja FCG Finnish Consulting Group Oy:n hallituksen puheenjohtaja vuosina 2010-2015.
