Kahiluodon kartano on tila Taivassalossa. Kartanoon kuuluivat Iso-Kahiluoto ja Vähä-Kahiluoto, jotka yhdistettiin rälssisäterinä 1600-luvun puolivälissä.[1] Keskiajalla sen omisti Ille-suku. Sen jälkeen kartano periytyi Footangelin ja Starkin suvussa ja oli 1800-luvulla monen suvun omistuksessa,[2] kuten von Knorring ja von Troil[1].

Päärakennus

Kartanon päärakennus valmistui noin 1790, ja sen rakennutti Agneta Eleonora de la Myle.[2] Rakennusvuosi on päätelty sen omistajan F. L. de la Mylen tekemästä vesiväripiirroksesta, joka on signeerattu 1796.[1] Rakennus siirrettiin Seurasaaren ulkomuseoon 1926[2].

Rakennus noudattaa tuolloin suosittuja Carl Wijnbladhin mallipiirustuksia[3]. Rakennuksen keskiosa on kaksikerroksinen,[2] ja rakennus on kustavilaiseen tapaan symmetrinen[4]. Sisäänkäyntejä on kaksi, mikä oli tuolloin harvinaista. Rakennuksessa on keittiö, kolme salia ja yhdeksän muuta huonetta.[2]

Nykyisin kartanon ruokasaliin ja alakerran kulmasaliin on asennettu Vihdin Olkkalan kartanosta peräisin olevat kangastapetit. Nykyinen kalustus on peräisin eri tahoilta paitsi keittiön avohyllyköt, jotka ovat alkuperäisiä.[2]

Keittiö on sisäänkäynnistä oikealle, ruokasali on keskellä, ja sen kautta on kulku toiselle sivulle, jossa on peräkkäisiä pienempiä huoneita, kuten makuuhuoneet, rouvan- ja herranhuone sekä lastenhuone.[3] Ruokasalin kummaltakin puolelta vievät portaat yläkertaan, jossa keskellä on sali, ja siitä avautuvista ovista pääsee makuuhuoneisiin, förmaakiin ja yläeteisiin.[5]

Rakennus on edustava esimerkki Lounais-Suomen kartanokulttuurista.[4]
