Ruotsin jääpallon Allsvenskan pelattiin kaudella 2015–2016 kahdentoista ja yhdentoista joukkueen lohkoissa, joissa pelattiin kaksinkertainen sarja. Lohkojen kaksi parasta joukkuetta selviytyi Elitserienin karsintoihin, kaksi heikointa putosi 1. divisioonaan ja sijoille 9.–10. sijoittuneet joutuivat karsimaan Allsvenskanin sarjapaikastaan. Koska sarjan noussut Skirö-Nävelsjö BS joutui luopumaan pelaajapulan vuoksi eteläisen lohkon sarjapaikastaan eikä kesällä 2015 löytynyt halukasta korvaavaa joukkuetta, lohko pelattiin 11 joukkueen sarjana.[1][2][3]

Karsinnat pelattiin kahdessa neljän joukkueen lohkossa. Karsinnoissa pelasivat Elitserienin neljä heikointa ja Allsvenskanin neljä parasta joukkuetta. Molempien lohkojen kaksi parasta joukkuetta selviytyivät seuraavaksi kaudeksi Elitserieniin.
