Jakub Hrůša

Jakub Hrůša (s. 1981) on tšekkiläinen kapellimestari.[1]

Hrůša opiskeli Prahan esittävien taiteiden akatemiassa muiden muassa Jiří Bělohlávekin johdolla. Hänelle myönnettiin ensimmäinen Sir Charles Mackerras -palkinto.[2] Hrůša aloitti vuonna 2016 työskentelyn Bambergin sinfoniaorkesterin pääkapellimestarina.[1] Hän on toiminut myös Philharmonia-orkesterin ja Tšekin filharmonikkojen päävierailijana. Hrůša on vieraillut lisäksi muiden muassa Berliinin filharmonikkojen, Concertgebouw-orkesterin, Orchestra dell'Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilian, Gewandhaus-orkesterin, Mahler-kamariorkesterin, Clevelandin orkesterin, New Yorkin filharmonikkojen, Chicagon sinfoniaorkesterin, Wienin filharmonikkojen, Baijerin radion sinfoniaorkesterin, Orchestre de Parisin ja NHK-sinfoniaorkesterin johdossa.[2]

Hrůša on johtanut Glyndebournen festivaalilla monia oopperoita, kuten Vanessan, Ovelan ketun, Kesäyön unelman, Carmenin, The Turn of the Screw'n, Don Giovannin ja La bohèmen. Hän on toiminut Glyndebournen kiertuekokoonpanon musiikillisena johtajana ja johtanut oopperaa myös Covent Gardenissa, Wiener Staatsoperissa, Zürichin oopperassa ja Opéra National de Parisissa.[2]
