1945 → 

Kaudella 1941 toiseksi korkein sarjataso Suomen Jääpallossa oli maakuntasarja. Sodan seurauksena ei sarjassa ollut enää luovutetuilta alueilta kotoisin olevia seuroja eikä evakkoseuroja. Sarja pelattiin kuudessa lohkossa ja voittajat pelasivat keskenään loppuottelut sarjanoususta. Sota kuitenkin sekoitti taas jääpallosarjoja ja sarjamuotoinen kilpailu järjestettiin vasta neljän vuoden kuluttua.
