Helsinki Triathlon ry on vuonna 1986 perustettu jäsenmäärältään Suomen suurin triathlonseura lähde?. Seuran toiminta-ajatus on edistää triathlonharrastusta ja -tietoutta Uudenmaan alueella.

Harrastaapa triathlonia sitten kunto-, kilpa- tai huippu-urheiluna, seura tarjoaa monipuolisia yhteisiä harjoitusvuoroja ja harjoituksia, seuran omat HelTri Talvisarja ja HelTri Cup -harjoituskilpailusarjat, ohjattuja uintivuoroja, perinteiset kevät- ja syysleirit, seurailtoja sekä seuratuotteita.

Yli 600 heltriläisen joukkoon ovat tervetulleita kaikki lajista kiinnostuneet kansallisesta kärjestä kannustusjoukkoihin.[1]

Toiminta

Seura järjestää jäsenilleen valmennusta[2], triathlonkouluja[3], yhteistreenejä, seurakilpailuja [4], leirejä sekä tietoiskuja seurailtojen merkeissä. [5] Seuran toimisto on Helsingin Kaupungin Liikuntaviraston tiloissa Liikuntamyllyssä. [6] Seuran toiminnanjohtaja on Päivi Steffen.[7]

Helsinki Triathlon ry tuottaa lajikohtaista kuvamateriaalia, jota on nähtävillä Flickr- kuvavirrassa.
