Glen Thomas Powell Jr. (s. 21. lokakuuta 1988 Austin, Texas) on yhdysvaltalainen näyttelijä. Hän on näytellyt muun muassa television kauhukomediasarjassa Scream Queens (2015) ja toimintaelokuvassa Top Gun: Maverick (2022). Lisäksi hän on työskennellyt teatterinäyttelijänä.

Ura

Glen Powell varttui synnyinkaupungissaan Austinissa. Hänen vanhempansa ovat Glen Sr. ja Cyndy Powell ja hän on kolmilapsisen katraan keskimmäinen. Ennen muuttoaan Los Angelesiin Powell opiskeli media-alaa (radio, televisio, elokuvat) Texasin yliopistossa.[2]

Powell on näytellyt teatterissa muun muassa musikaalissa The Sound of Music. Vuosina 1999–2003 hän kuului ryhmään Broadway Texas Players, minkä jälkeen hän alkoi saada televisio- ja elokuvarooleja.[2]

Powellin varhaisia elokuvarooleja on pitkäsorminen poika Robert Rodriguezin seikkailukomediassa Spy Kids 3 – Peli on pelattu (2003). Sen jälkeen hän näytteli muun muassa elokuvissa Fast Food Nation (2006), The Hottest State (2006), The Great Debaters (2007). Vuonna 2022 hänellä oli Jake ”Hangman” Seresinin rooli toimintaelokuvassa Top Gun: Maverick. Powell on näytellyt niin ikään televisiosarjoissa, kuten Into the West (2005), C.S.I. Miami (2009) ja Scream Queens (2015).[2][3][4]
