Fredrik Vilhelm Procopé

Fredrik Procopé.

Fredrik Vilhelm Procopé (4. toukokuuta 1834 Turku – 8. helmikuuta 1909 Tampere) oli suomalainen juristi, Tampereen pormestari, valtiopäivämies ja Tammikuun valiokunnan jäsen.[1]

Procopén vanhemmat olivat kihlakunnantuomari, sotajustitiaari Berndt Johan Procopé (1791–1859) ja hänen ensimmäinen puolisonsa Lovisa Henrika Trapp. Hän kävi Turun yläalkeiskoulua ja Turun lukiota ja pääsi ylioppilaaksi Helsingissä 1852. Procopé suoritti tuomarintutkinnon Helsingin yliopistossa 1857, oli auskultanttina Turun hovioikeudessa ja sai varatuomarin arvon 1859.[1] Procopé oli Tampereen pormestari 1867–1903. Hän sai kihlakunnantuomarin arvonimen 1874 ja laamannin arvonimen 1899. Hän oli Tammikuun valiokunnan jäsen 1862 ja osallistui porvarissäädyssä Tampereen edustajana valtiopäiville 1872, 1877–1878 ja 1882.[1][2]

Fredrik Vilhelm Procopé oli naimisissa vuodesta 1862 Elfrida Axela Gustava Federleyn (k. 1913) kanssa. Heidän poikansa oli liikemies Fredrik Gustaf Procopé (1874–1922).[1]
