Siroco oli Ranskan laivaston 1925 vesille laskettu Bourrasque-luokan hävittäjä toisessa maailmansodassa.

Valmistus

Alus tilattiin Ateliers et Chantiers de St. Nazaire-Penhoët'lta, missä köli laskettiin maaliskuussa 1924. Alus laskettiin vesille 3. lokakuuta 1925 ja otettiin palvelukseen 1. heinäkuuta 1927.[1]

Palvelus

Aluksen 75 millimetrin ilmatorjuntatykki vaihdettiin 1930-luvun alussa kahteen 37 millimetrin ilmatorjuntatykkiin, jolloin tulinopeus nousi merkittävästi kantaman kustannuksella.[1]

Toisen maailmansodan alun Siroco oli Kanaalin alueella. Sen ilmoitettiin upottaneen Saksan laivaston sukellusveneen, mutta kohteena ollut U-49 kykeni vaurioituneenakin palaamaan tukikohtaansa. Helmikuussa 1940 alus hyökkäsi uudelleen tuloksetta sukellusvenettä vastaan.[2]

Saksan laivaston torpedoveneiden S23 ja S26 laukaisemat torpedot upottivat aluksen 31. toukokuuta 1940 Dunkerquen edustalla.[2]
