Eva Ibbotson (alk. Maria Charlotte Michelle Wiesner, 21. tammikuuta 1925 Wien, Itävalta – 20. lokakuuta 2010 Newcastle, Iso-Britannia) oli brittiläinen lasten- ja nuortenkirjailija. Hänen ensimmäinen suomennettu teoksensa on Pelastakaa kummitukset (1979), tuorein on vuonna 2005 ilmestynyt Kazanin tähti.

Ibbotson syntyi Itävallassa. Hänen äitinsä oli näytelmäkirjailija Anna Gmeyner, isä fysiologi. Vanhemmat erosivat varhain, ja isä muutti Britanniaan. Adolf Hitlerin noustua valtaan 1933 Ibbotson muutti isänsä luokse, ja myöhemmin myös uudelleen avioitunut äiti muutti Britanniaan. Ibbotson kävi koulunsa sisäoppilaitoksessa ja opiskeli fysiologiaa Lontoon yliopistossa. Hän jatkoi tutkijana Cambridgen yliopistossa, mutta eläinkokeet tuntuivat stressaavilta, ja avioiduttuaan Alan Ibbotsonin kanssa hän keskittyi kotiin ja neljään lapseen. Lasten ollessa pieniä hän ryhtyi kirjoittamaan lyhyitä tarinoita. Kun nuorin poika aloitti koulun, Ibbotson kirjoitti ensimmäisen täyspitkän romaanin ja jatkoi sittemmin kirjoittamista lapsille ja aikuisille.
